I’ve been a runner for many years competing in marathon and ultra-marathon events, however but haven’t run an ultra-event for over 5 years.

I have been training for several months, completing many miles on the towpaths across the network and when I saw that the Trust had places to run the Waterway 30 I thought this is the perfect opportunity to get back to ultra-distance.
