Yarwell Lock only
Update on 7/07/2023:
Navigation Advisory Notice for Yarwell Lock on the River Nene issued on 29 June 2023 has been rescinded. Please leave all locks on the River Nene in the correct position with guillotine gates up and V doors closed.
ADVICE (Thursday 29 June 2023 until further notice)
Following an inspection at Yarwell Lock of the leaking mitre doors, we are now in the process of sourcing contractors to facilitate the repairs.
In the meantime, can we please ask that when navigating through YARWELL LOCK ONLY that you leave the guillotine gate down and the V doors open. This is only applicable to this lock on the river due to the current situation
This replaces the Emergency Closure Notice for Yarwell Lock issued 28/06/2023 which is now rescinded.
EMERGENCY CLOSURE (Thursday 29 June 2023)
Please be aware that contractors will be on site at Yarwell Lock on
29 June 2023 carrying out an inspection and possible repairs.
The Lock will be closed during this period and navigation through the
lock will not be possible.
