THE UK’s largest marina operator Aquavista won the Lloyds Small to Medium Sized Business of the Year Award at the Lloyds British Business Excellence Awards.
The LBBE Awards is the UK’s largest and most prestigious business awards programme that celebrates the cream of the crop in British business. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) account for more than 5.5 million businesses in the UK and are responsible for the employment of 60% of the UK workforce.
Aquavista is the UK’s largest marina operator with 29 marinas in locations across England, five of which are coastal and 24 are inland. The marinas offer residential and leisure berths, nationwide boat sales, floating homes and marine services.
Aquavista CEO Steve de Polo said: “I am incredibly proud of what our company and all our fantastic people have achieved to help us receive this level of recognition. This award is a testament to our collective hard work, dedication and commitment to excellence. While I might have picked up the trophy at the event last night, it truly is for us all. I’d like to thank our crew for their continued hard work as we create a business we can all be proud of.”
The latest award comes after the company won the East Midlands Business Masters 2024 Medium Sized Business of the Year award.
