Downstream Barton Lock to Bidford Bridge

Barton Lock now open with care.
National Grid have restrung the electricity cables over the navigation, however the tree is still in the river but possible to navigate with care. The tree will be removed as soon as possible. Barton and Marlcliff locks are now un-locked.
RESTRICTION (Friday 14 June 2024 until further notice)
We have received a report of a tree blocking the navigation between Barton Lock and Bidford Bridge. This was from tree felling operations by land owners. Electricity cables have also been taken down and fallen into the navigation. DO NOT PROCEED between Bidford Bridge and Barton Lock until further notice.
