Update on 22/06/2023:
The nesting bird in the life ring at Cotterstock Lock has moved on therefore our navigation advisory notice issued on 23 May 2023 is now rescinded.
ADVICE (Tuesday 23 May 2023 until further notice)
We would like to make you aware that there is a bird nesting in the life ring at Cotterstock Lock. We have provided an additional life ring at the lock for use instead to avoid disturbing the nest.
In case of emergency the original life ring can also be used if required.
