ADVICE (8am Thursday 15 February until 5pm Friday 14 February 2025)

Please be advised that there will be regular organised rowing activity between Lemonroyd Lock 7 and Woodlesford Lock 5, starting in mid-February 2024.

Rowing boats will launch at a fixed pontoon opposite Lemonroyd marina and will row on the long straight section between Fleet Lane Bridge and Swillington Bridge, where they will be permitted to exceed the navigational speed limit.

All other boating activity may continue as usual but please take extra care when navigating this length.
