This is a taster of a project undertaken by a group of enthusiasts to rebuild a lost canal and river link to Stafford from the Staffordshire and Worcestershire canal at Baswich.

In this lock-down edition (pardon the pun) of Run the Cut, I’ve attempted to stay away from the canal towpaths until it is safer for all.
This fantastic project has captured my imagination and I’m pleased to share just some of the information I’ve discovered.
