CANAL holiday business Foxhangers was thrilled to announce the winners of its highly anticipated Memories photo competition. In the run up to the competition the hire firm was inundated with an array of stunning entries, each capturing the essence and beauty of canal holidays.
First prize went to Reeling in Holiday Memories by Estella Rich, who won £1500 to spend on a future Foxhangers canal holiday. Estella’s photo perfectly showcases a moment of quality family time aboard the Arctic Fox, emphasising the family-friendly nature of canal holidays.
Second place went to Majestic Landing – A Heron’s Commanding Presence, by Hanna Jury, who won the runner-up £500 prize. This breathtaking photo of a heron elegantly landing on the canal boat Foxglacier beautifully captures the harmonious blend of wildlife and the tranquil canal environment.
Third place was snapped up by the stunning composition, Elegance on the Water, by Vicky Hlisnikowski, who won the £250 prize. Vicky’s elegant shot of the Flying Fox approaching Bath’s iconic architecture highlights the majestic presence of boats against the backdrop of the historic city.
